Political Brouhaha

It was gathered yesterday that the presidency may have directed the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha to formally write the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal to reconvene plenary sessions within one week or face impeachment.
A source close to the presidency who spoke to Vanguard under the condition of anonymity said if after one week Tambuwal fails to carry out the instruction, 120 signatures would be gathered to frustrate him out of office.
Those present in the meeting held at the Villa on Wednesday night include the Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio, Gabriel Suswan of Benue, the Attorney General to the Federation, Adokie Muhammed, Leader of the House, Mulikat Akande-Adeola, the Deputy Leader Leo Ogor and the Deputy Speaker.
