Good Night Cheick Tiote

Tiote, a 52-time capped player, who was at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, will be honoured with a military funeral on Sunday.
Cheick Tiote's body has been flown back to the Ivory Coast and a private funeral for the former Newcastle midfielder will take place in his homeland.
Hundreds of people gathered at Abidjan's International Airport to receive Tiote's body on Thursday including former team-mates Kolo Toure, Wilfried Bony, Gervinho, Siake Tiene and his former coach Herve Renard.

A key member of the Ivory Coast team which ended a 23-year drought in winning the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, his manager from that time Herve Renard made the trip.Teammates Solomon Kalou, Kader Keita,Kolo Toure and Wilfried Bony were also present

Bony was among the players who helped carry the coffin out of the airport.
Tiote tragically passed away after he collapsed during a training session with his Chinese club Beijing Enterprises.
