BREAKING: Boko Haram attacks Maiduguri, 6 killed
Boko Haram terrorists have reportedly launched
a deadly attack in at Muna Garage on the outskirts of Maiduguri in Jere Local
Government Area. According to Sahara reporters, the bomb attack resulted in the
death of six persons while 25 persons were reportedly injured. Adam Tahir who
is a member of the civilian joint task force who confirmed the attack the
bomber detonated his explosive near a mosque killing the six worshippers. He
said: “It is sad that bombers attacked worshippers at Muna Mosque in Komburi
village. They killed at least six people and many were wounded.” Another
eyewitness said the death toll may be more than the ones reported. He said:
“From what I saw at the scenes, more than 10 people died and 30 others were
evacuated to the hospital. There were four bombers who exploded simultaneously
and they targeted us during Maghrib prayer.” Meanwhile, a report by Premium
Times indicates that at least two persons were killed and many others feared
injured as Boko Haram insurgents attacked Maikadiri village in Askira-Uba local
government area of Borno state on Saturday, November 11. According to the
report, the attackers crept upon the sleeping villagers at about midnight and began
to shoot sporadically.
