Three children dead following suspected arson attack at house in Salford

Two 16-year-old boys managed to escape the fire by themselves.
The 35-year-old mother of the children is also in hospital having being rescued                 form the blaze at the house on Jackson Street in Worsley.                                                     Police are treating the fire as a suspected arson attack. No arrests have been made.According to the Manchester Evening News, police had been called to the house following an incident around 2am, three hours before the fire service were alerted to the blaze.                                                                                                                                                 A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) spokesperson said: "We were called to a fire at a mid-terraced house on Jackson Street, Worsley, at 4.59am on Monday, 11 December.                                                                                                                             "Firefighters rescued five people from the house and used eight breathing in total, three hose reels and a ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Two people had self-rescued before firefighters arrived."A number of people were taken to hospital. Four crews from Farnworth, Bolton Central and Eccles attended.
"Residents and commuters are advised to continue to avoid the area due to road closures. Firefighters are still on the scene to monitor the house for any remaining hotspots."
