Addressing transportation challenges for the students, Gov Zulum provides 300 bicycles for the new technical school

The Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum, has directed the ministry of education to, with immediate effect, recruit fresh graduates as teachers to a newly constructed government technical school in Wuyo, Bayo Local Government Area, to fast track the commencement of academic activities. Also, the Governor provided three hundred bicycles for the students that will be enrolled in the technical school as a way of addressing transportation challenges for the students within the neighbouring communities. This, according to Zulum will not only encourage enrollment but will also motivate the students in learning. At the commissioning of the mega technical school on Wednesday, the governor also announced a free feeding program for students of the school, the first of its kind in the state. Davido Launches Crypto Company, ‘$Echoke' Token'

 Award-winning Nigerian singer Davido has finally launched his cryptocurrency company named ‘Echoke Social Token’. He took to his verified Twitter and Instagram pages to make the announcement with his fans and followers. Information from the whitepaper of the token reveals that it is a cryptocurrency that is built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and it is meant to, “provide access to giveaways, NFTs, festivals, exclusive merchandise, and other entertainment, media, and hospitality benefits.” The singer wrote: "Happy to finally announce this thing we’ve been working on for a while. Ganduje: Kano, Lagos States demand 1 per cent in Revenue Allocation Formula

  Gov Abdullah Ganduje of Kano State, says Kano and Lagos States are demanding for 1 per cent in the new nation’s Revenue Allocation Formula.  The demand is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Mr Abba Anwar, issued on Tuesday in Kano. Anwar said that Ganduje made the case when his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, paid a condolence visit over the death of Aliko Dangote’s brother, Sani Dangote. He quoted Ganduje as saying, “looking at the population size of Kano and Lagos states and other similarities of mega cities, both states demand for 1 per cent in the new nation’s revenue allocation formula. We have already made our submissions.” He noted that the two states were lucky to have the highest number of members of House of Representatives in the country. Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia has expressed the resolve of his administration to to the state. He made the resolve on Wednesday at the Governor’s Lodge, Aba while briefing newsmen on the road projects in the state. The governor said that Abia government’s resolve to build projects that would stand the test of time had gone a long way in impacting the state’s socioeconomic development. He said that governance ought to be seen as a narrative that would give a better understanding of the government’s agenda to the citizens.
